Travels
- New
York/New Hampshire - two weeks after spring break i made a little
smarter decision - for about the same price - and flew to NYC to check
out Columbia University. Over the weekend I took a bus to see my friend
Kate in New Hampshire and we climbed Mt. Waumbek, one of the 48 NH mountains
over 4000 feet - with a great view of Mt. Washington and the other "Presidentials"
of the White Mountians - for all you weather nuts!
- Spring
break in Washington, DC - I decided to take action on the grad school
quest and drive out to DC to visit the University of Maryland and American
University
General life experiences
- Jennifer's
Graduation - my sister graduated on May 14th from Wichita State
University and moved into her new house in the same week... I'm such
a proud big brother!
- Oklahoma
City Memorial Marathon - I completed the half marathon in just under
2 hours, 40 minutes... which was pretty good since I decided to do it
on a whim and didn't train for it! By the end my jog (if you want to
call it that) was just barely faster than people that were walking,
but the experience was priceless - one of the most inspirational days
of my life.
- OU
club soccer game vs. Central Oklahoma - my friend Nic and the men's
club soccer team advances to the finals of the Oklahoma club league
playoffs
- Oklahoma
City Memorial - Tenth anniversary - a walk around the memorial with
some friends visiting from out of town
