Just west of the metro, this storm came a rumblin' in. We quickly went down I-40 and turned south before we hit the storm
(so as to not get hailed on). But somehow many of the major news station chasesr were southwest of the supercell. I to this day do
not know why or how they were southwest of this storm if they started out in OKC. Some lightning kept us within the car most of the
time. The inflow was pretty good and there was evident rotation on the storm. It looked bad for OKC. Of course, if memory serves
right, the storm dissipated greatly before reaching the city, but it was a fun thing to look at, especially since it was so close to
home. Of course, we ended up right on Cemetery Road, which cemeteries seem to be the hang-out spot for Pete. So I had to snap proof
of this. We met some others at an Arby's I believe somewhere near Blachard?
