LFC Madness of Fall 2004 Synopsis

GMAC Tire Bowl HIST3223

(24) Bryan Burkholder 7 3 30 13
(14) Sandra Holguin 0 3 3 6 12

Well, turned out to be a good game between just writing and having to scrap together one page essays from going to class occasionally and not taking notes when going to class. But it is subjective and I did all the reading assignments, which put me in prime position to win early. Coming off a cold and stretching the game until the end, a rebuilding Burkholder team was able to squeak by with a victory and probably a B.

AutoZone Liberty Bowl METR4133

(24) Bryan Burkholder 0 14 0 12 26
(9) Kelvin Droegemeier 10 14 10 0 34

The high power offense of Droege's team was unstoppable early in the game with a defense that wreaked havoc on the young Burkholder offense. Fumbling on the easy wind field, along with an interception on the low-level jet, the early score was a rout. However, summoning a late comeback (and multiple failed 2pt. attempts), Burkholder was able to make the score look respectable on paper. A definite step to get back to the experience needed to return to the National Championship game next semester. Likely B.

Honalulu Aloha Bowl METR4233

(24) Bryan Burkholder 10 10 14 7 41
(6) David Karoly 3 3 7 0 13

Snubbed from the BCS this year by the non-conference bid from Ed Cline, Karoly will be looking for blood and zero Marks. His Melbourne-Coast style offense(?) and aboriginal defense(?) is already confusing Burkholder in the pre-game stage. Look for questions that have +ve feedback on my grade declining here.

The upset of the ages. Burkholder will probably keep his B by a strong victory worthy of an upset of K-State proportions!
