Travis Darling's Weather Page

Welcome! You've reached the home page of Travis Darling. I'm a junior meteorology major at the University of Oklahoma, minoring in mathematics and GIS. I currently work for Weather Decision Technologies as a forensic meteorologist. I hope to go to graduate school to study either meteorology or GIS (or a combination of the two) and eventually become a professor.

I'm currently taking METR 3113 (Atmospheric Dynamics I), METR 3213 (Atmospheric Thermodynamics I), METR 3613 (Meteorological Measurements), MATH 3413 (Physical Math), and ENGL 3513 (Technical Writing).

I am a forecaster and shift leader in the Oklahoma Weather Lab. I serve as a peer mentor in the OU School of Meteorology. I'm a tour guide for the National Weather Center. I'm treasurer of the OU Student Chapter of the American Meteorological Society (SCAMS). And I'm vice-president of OU Students for the Exploration and Development of Space (SEDS) (link coming soon!)

I'm currently dating Keri Bean, a senior meteorology major at Texas A&M University. Her experience and accomplishments far outshine mine, and can be seen by clicking on her name. (Do it. You know you want to.) (Why haven't you done it yet?)
