I'm glad you asked! For each forecast hour, there are 6 variables.
2. b) What are they?
Another fine question, imaginary questioner. They are:
- OMEG, or omega -- temperature.
- HGHT, or height.
- UREL, or relative velocity in the u-direction (east-west).
- TMPK, or temperature in Kelvin.
- VREL, or relative velocity in the v-direction (north-south).
- RELH, or relative humidity.
