Brent Crisp, his girlfriend Shelly, and myself drove off to the southwest
to intercept storms building there. We saw some nice mammatus clouds,
and drove through a precipiation core. Along Highway 183 heading south,
we saw a meso and a wall cloud, nicely lit up by the setting sun. After
dark we passed through Snyder, just before the meso did. We hurried
home, watching the lighning from the storms as they approached.
