Spring Break 2005
On Friday 18 March 2005, a few of my friends and I went on a camping trip to SE OK. We went to Cedar Lake, one of Oklahoma's state parks and had a wonderful time. Pictures of Cedar Lake can be found here.

Dave and Emily's Wedding
On 25 Feb 2005 my cousin Dave got married in Vegas. It was a lot of fun to go out to Vegas with the whole family and have a good time celebrating a wedding. Some pictures are posted here.

Norman Snow 2005
On Friday 28 Jan 2005, snow blanketed the Norman area with a quick 1.5 in. The snow started sometime between 7 and 8am on Friday morning and wrapped up by noon. Pictures of the event, taken by Nick Biermann are posted here.

Valpo Chase One
It was the middle of May 2004 and the first strom chase left from Valparaiso, IN. For nine days we were out in the field predicting and observing the weather. We encountered many different storms and other meteorological phenomenon, such as a halo. All in all we saw two tornadoes and a great LP supercell in Colorado!!

Mulvane: 12 Jun 2004
Fellow graduate student Mike French and I set out for a day chase from Norman, OK. Initially, we went north to El Reno, KS, but after getting base support from my sister in Illinois (no meteorology expert, but help nonetheless) we headed back south of Mulvane, KS. After waiting around for a LONG time we finally got to see a nice show that included three three tornadoes! A great chase day...patience paid off!

Birthday 2004!!
On 19 June 2004 I celebrated with friends my 23rd birthday! It was a great night spent at the Mont, where I got a free t-shirt. Jen tried to keep up with Mike and I but paid for it later.

The DeMik Wedding
I was an usher with two others of my fraternity brothers. It was a great time getting to see so many people with whom I graduated with or new during my time at Valparaiso University. I took many pictures from the wedding and the reception. It was good to see my grandbig Russ Chibe and his wife. 5+1 also sang at the reception as well as the whole fraternity.
