By the time we were to El Reno we knew that western Oklahoma was not going
to have anything happen this day. We drove south and ended up just north
of the Ardmore thunderstorm near Sulpher, OK and Dripping Springs, OK. We
photograped some very well defined mammatus near Davis, OK, and then later
shot lightning from just east of Ardmore.
