I left Norman at 4:00pm, and arrived near Bouse
Junction at 7:00pm. There was a nice shelf cloud on the line to my north that was moving south, very similar to the storms on May 27, 2001. This was my first daytime chase since April. Many things have been said about the lack of severe weather in 2002. May was Official Omega Block Month! I was glad to have something interesting today, even though I had a late start. I shot some cows in a field with the shelf cloud in the background, and later I photographed some nice blue and green skies near Fairview. There are lots of cows in NW Oklahoma to shoot. Everyone likes to shoot cows. Photographs:
