The TELEX 2003 crew was called in at about 6:00pm, so we were excited about actually launching balloons during the
day. However, we waited at the NOF until about 9:00pm before we deployed down to Chickasha again. We launched three
balloons from around Minco at about 1:30am. Additionally, three balloons which were supposed to fly on this night
were victims of bursting (one in the truck, on upon launching) and one was loaded back onto the truck after lightning
activity had decreased. However, one of the three balloons to fly only ascended to about 700 millibars.
