The first daytime balloon launches for TELEX 2003 took place north of Minco at about 12:00pm. Three latex balloons were successfully launched while a film crew hired by National Geographic filmed. We were asked to sign releases for their production, so perhaps in the future the TELEX crew will show up on some Discovery Channel production. Neat.
