This day ranks as the #1 chase of the year.  We got up early and headed to south-central Kansas again and actually ended up in Harper County, Kansas again.  We got extremely close (about a quarter mile away) and had to wait for the tornado to cross the road in front of us.  It was well behaved most of the time (and if you know me personally you know the story of Harper County Emergency Services) and stayed in a field.  It was absolutely breath taking and did not do much damage.  We later ended up seeing about 5 other tornados that day (the exact number is hard to tell).  Best of all...WE SAW THREE ON THE GROUND AT THE SAME TIME!!
