Faculty Position in Meteorology/Hydrometeorology: Department of Atmospheric Sciences, National Central University in Taiwan has one to two immediate openings for tenured/tenure-track faculty positions at all the levels of Full/Associate/Assistant Professors. The department may also consider a joint appointment with Institute of Hydrological Sciences in NCU. Outstanding candidates with Ph.D. degree and at least one-year research experience are encouraged to apply. He or she should demonstrate skillful talents on one of the following three major areas, (i) data assimilation with unconventional observations (e.g., satellite, radar and remote sensing), (ii) global/regional climate study with emphasis on environmental impact, and (iii) environmental study in relation to water and/or air quality modeling/analysis. The successful candidates will be required to teach undergraduate and graduate courses and to develop interdisciplinary research.
