From 1985 to now, I work at the NWP group of Central Weather Bureau, mainly at
limited Forecast System(LFS). I have done some part of LFS
- Vertical normal mode of initialization
- Satellite data usage:
- IR data to enhence moisture field of deep convection weather system
- SSMI data plus reverse Kuo scheme to adjust the temperature and moisture
field of deep convection system
- Positive moisture advection scheme (Smolarkiewicz scheme)
I think that initial conditions and dynamic of LFS are my main research aims.
