TheWednesday opf spring break gave us an chance for some decent storms in
western Oklahoma. We left Sarkey's and headed west on I-40. Near Elk
City we watched 2 different moderately high-based supercells. They
looked nice, but when the rotation really started picking up, they
because rain-wrapped. We then headed west a little to watch the second
of the 2 storms, a lot of low scud were associated with it. There was no
strong rotation though. Soon we ran out of daylight, so we watched the
lightning for a while. There were a coupel cool pictures which I may get
a chance to scan at some point.
