February 8, 2001 Silly early season chase, but it was nice to be out there again. Best action was when the front hit Norman after the chase.

February 24, 2001 First tornado of 2001, NNW of Carlisle, AR. This chase log will be added when school allows time to write it.

March 11, 2001 A trip south of Wichita Falls with a group from the Iowa State AMS. We saw a funnel on a young storm.

March 23, 2001 Annual spring break chase day. Nothing really panned out though.

April 6, 2001 High risk, so I had to go out. Nothing much happened though, the day never lived up to it's hype.

April 14, 2001 Storms went up in several areas, but just couldn't rotate in SW Oklahoma.

April 21, 2001 After a late start we caught up to a great storm in central Kansas shortly before dark. It later produced the deadly Hoisington, KS tornado.

April 22, 2001 Kinda a long shot, but the target was in southern Oklahoma so we gambled. We ended up home before the Simpson's started.

May 5, 2001 A long round trip to get on a storm back in Oklahoma on our way home. 2 cells went up, and we ended up on the non-tornadic one.

May 6, 2001 A rare time when storms popped up right on top of Norman. Even with finals the following week, this was impossible to stay home on. Grat storm, and less than 10 miles away.

May 6, 2001-Part 2 A trip to try and take some lightning picture as storms moved through Oklahoma City along the cold front that evening.
