The Meteorologists

Natalie Daab
Natalie Daab is a senior in the School of Meteorology with a minor in broadcast journalism. Natalie studied abroad at The University of Reading in England during the spring 2011 semester and got the opportunity to travel to seven different countries during her time there. She has interned at News9 and KSBI-TV in Oklahoma City and at WGN-TV in Chicago. She also served as an undergraduate research assistant at the Center for Analysis and Prediction of Storms.
During her time in the School of Meteorology, Natalie has been a School of Meteorology mentor, a National Weather Center Tour Guide, an OU Student Chapter of the American Meteorological Society (OUSCAMS) member, and an Oklahoma Weather Lab (OWL) forecaster. Natalie has also participated as a Camp Crimson counselor and is currently an OU Nightly weather anchor, weather producer, and crew member. Natalie has done all of these things while maintaining a 4.00 GPA. Natalie is the recipient of several scholarships and honors, including the School of Meteorology’s Undergraduate Achievement Award for the highest GPA in the junior class.
Outside of school, Natalie is an active member at Journey Church and will be a part of their missions team traveling to Los Angeles over spring break. She also enjoys spending time with her friends and family, working out, traveling, and taking pictures. Upon graduation in May 2012, Natalie will pursue a career as a broadcast meteorologist. She is open to living and working pretty much anywhere, so she looks forward to what the future has in store.

Natalye Lahart
Natalye Lahart is a senior in the School of Meteorology at the University of Oklahoma, planning on graduating in May. She is originally from Houston, Texas. Natalye had the opportunity to study abroad as an exchange student at Universität Hamburg in Hamburg, Germany for seven months during the 2011 Spring semester. As an exchange student she immersed in several new cultures and was able to travel to thirteen different countries.
During her time at the University of Oklahoma, Natalye has become very involved in the Delta Gamma Fraternity. She has held four different positions, including a Vice President position. She has also stayed involved in the OU Student Chapter of the American Meteorological Society, the Oklahoma Weather Lab, and been a Peer Mentor through the School of Meteorology.

Kevin Burns
Kevin will be graduating in May 2012 with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in meteorology with a minor in physical geography. He is seeking a full-time position at a private sector meteorology company. Kevin has experience as a member of OU SCAMS (Student Chapter of American Meteorological Society) and a student forecaster for OWL (Oklahoma Weather Lab). While not in class or studying, he spends his time in athletics both at work, as a student assistant in the Athletics Business Office, and at play, as a dedicated fan of Sooner Sports.
