INSTRUMENT STATUS: All the instruments are working and power has not had any issues in the rain.
WEATHER INFO: Today was cool and rainy. Showers and storms (we heard thunder once ~8pm LT) lasted all day and were heavy at times. Additional rain is possible tomorrow. Chances for scattered light showers persist through Friday and Saturday. Sunday 5/14 – Thursday 5/18 appear to be clear weather. Temperatures will increase during this time. Winds will be light and westerly Sunday transitioning to easterly through Monday. Good opportunity for a supersonde mission.
PREVIOUS DAY OPS: The CU team did not fly the tethersonde last night. The 39th tower is mostly instrumented and powered. 40th tower is being worked on.
